The main ingredients in our bars are DERIVED FROM PLANTS.

“Nature is not a place to visit.
It is home.”

-GARY SNYDER

All of our packaging is 100% recyclable or compostable!

THE PROBLEM

Recycling is not enough

Americans discard about 33.6 million tons of plastic each year, but only 9.5% of it is recycled, according to Columbia University. Much of it ends up in landfill, where it takes up to 500 years to decompose. According to Johnson & Johnson, more than 552 million shampoo bottles alone are dumped in landfills each year and another 165 million tons is dumped into the ocean. This needs to stop.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to convince people to replace BOTTLES with BARS. Most household items sold in plastic containers are diluted with up to 85% water. We simply subtract water to make long-lasting, concentrated bars.

Sustainability

We use packaging materials that are 100% recyclable/ compostable, including recycled newspapers, junk mail and report cards.

CHARITY

We donate a portion of our bars to the Dorothy Day House in Berkeley, which offers free showers to unhoused people as well as the Berkeley Food Pantry and Albany High Food Pantry.
