We totaled up the number of bars we sold in 2022 over our website and through our six local retailers.

The grand total was 3,025 bars — replacing 6,050 single-use plastic bottles. (Each bar lasts twice as long a bottled product). Thank you for your continued support! 💕

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re going ORGANIC! We found an affordable local supplier of organic oils and butters and will be transitioning to organic ingredients this year.

New and improved! We’ve updated our lotion bar recipe to make it easier to glide on the skin. The new recipe contains skin-loving avocado oil and quick-absorbing mango butter. Scented in lavender essential oil or honey fragrance oil. These are fabulous to smooth over chapped hands and dried feet; pair with our handy metal tin to keep your lotion bar lint-free!

Over the holidays, we did bit of experimenting with herbal colorants. The soap below was made with a mixture of plant infusions: Alkanet, Rhubarb, Indigo and Marigold. The colors came out super-saturated, reminding us of an old super hero comic book. 🦸‍♀️ These are scented with a blend of lavender, pine and fir needle essential oils that call to mind a hike through a high mountain meadow. (Available next month!)

Herbal infusions require heating the plant powders in an olive oil for several hours, to infuse the oil with the colors. The colors are poured in individual layers.
